An Abundance of Writing & Revision Resources (a FundsforWriters Sponsor)
Published: Wed, 03/09/16
Hey there,
You might already know me, since I've been in touch before through Hope's wonderful newsletters, but in case you don't,
I'm Joan Dempsey, and I work with a lot of creative writers.
Writers reach out to me all the time (which I love). They often share with me what they're working on and ask me specific
questions about self-editing and revision.
Over time I began to realize I was repeatedly hearing a lot of the same questions. As a result, I was always sharing the
same answers.
So last week I spent a whole heap of time gathering up my go to resources for writers.
The result?
Resources for Writers, a webpage that's jam-packed with helpful writing resources.
I invite you to browse through all the resources, or jump directly to those that interest you most by clicking on the
topic header below:
Books
Free Monthly Revision Tips, Tools & Resources
Grammar & Writing Assistance
Articles about the Craft of Writing
Copy Editing Assistance
On Publishing, Book Proposals, Literary Agents, Query Letters & the Dreaded Novel Synopsis
Find Out Where to Submit Your Work
Inspiration for Writers
Digital Tools
I hope from these resources you'll learn something new and interesting and inspiring that you can immediately
apply to your own work.
Let me know if you do! (Shoot me an e-mail – I read every one.)
And let me know, too, if there's an incredible writing resource you turn to all the time that you think would be a
great addition to this page.
To your writing!
Joan
